Sometimes I think everyone should just start with these kind of low volatility funds in the first place, and just reinvest dividends.

From what I recall after skimming it, the advice was good but pretty much the credit report access Terre Haute standard advice youd get elsewhere. Start saving early, save on taxes by putting it in an IRA/401k, invest in stocks for the long run, and so on except it was pre-2008 so stock return expectations were probably much rosier. Ive read so many books like that Im tired of them, but if youre looking for a book covering the basics, why not start with this one for free.
